An aspiring venture of Christ Public School, Basavanagar.

​Nirmal Hriday embarked as a sequel of pain in letting go of our specially abled children who joined us in the first batch of Christ Public School and was formally inaugurated by B.A. Basavaraj, M.L.A., K.R. Puram Constituency, on July 14, 2018.

​An effort to urge the society to accept each child with his own unique nature and capabilities and provide education and personal development rather than care.  A dream project to bring the special needs children, regardless of the differences, under the same roof of education along with the other children.

​An inclusive education system, in CPS, under the leadership of our Director, Fr. Dr. Davis Panadan, aims to empower the specially abled children, any deviations from the average of physical and mental ability of a child, to move on to the mainstream schooling.  Nirmal Hriday is equipped with teachers and therapists who are personally experienced and professionally trained.  CPS has designed its infrastructure to be optimal for Nirmal Hriday Program.

In an inclusive education approach, children with special needs are better prepared for independent living with increased peer interactions benefiting post school adjustments.  Most importantly, it provides access to general education curriculum standards in a setting with age-appropriate role models and higher levels of learning are achieved.

​With limited intake of students for the Nirmal Hriday program, we maintain a low student-teacher ratio.  Admissions will be closed in a short period of time.
